Welcome to Miracle Way Minis.  We are located in the center of Gray, Maine, about 30 minutes north of Portland.  We are a very small family farm.  Our farm consists of two very special miniature horses, three dogs and two birds.  All of our animals are part of the family.

Our first introduction to miniature horses started in March of 2007.  Our daughter, who was 11, had fallen in love with the miniatues at the local fair the previous fall.  In March we visited Coopers Royal Heritage Farm www.coopersrhf.com  in Windham, just 10 minutes away.  There she fell in love with a little chestnut filly with a star, only a few hours old. 
After many family discussions we decided to purchase Sparkle.  She was named Coopers Sparkling Star, as she was born during a starry night.  She arrived home with us in September 2007.  

 

Shadow is our three year old gelding.  He came to live with us in May of 2007 to be a companion for Sparkle when she arrived home.  He also came from the same farm as Sparkle.  He is little, but loves to jump.  All we have to do is show him the jumps and he is off. 

We have three dogs.  Munchkin is an 8 year old miniature schnauzer.  She has been with us since a puppy.  Zoie is a 3 year old labrador retriever and also has been with us since a puppy.  Lucky is our resuce dog.  The vets estimated he was 1 1/2 - 2 years old when he came to live with us in January 2008.  Lucky was abandoned for at least 5 months and running the streets all alone.  My husband and I were able to capture him on a cold day in January.


Our children each have a bird.  My son has a yellow lovebird, Dandelion.   My daughter has a talking cockatiel, Buttercup, who whistles, barks like a dog and say my daughters name over and over.
